  1. Use of Your Data for Direct Marketing

6.1 Subscription to Our E-Mail Newsletter

If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we will regularly send you information about our offers. The only mandatory information required for sending the newsletter is your email address. The provision of additional data is voluntary and is used to address you personally. For sending the newsletter, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that we will only send you the newsletter once you have explicitly confirmed that you agree to receive the newsletter. We will send you a confirmation email, asking you to click on a corresponding link to confirm that you want to receive newsletters.

By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to use your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. The IP address and the date and time of your subscription to the newsletter, which were entered by your Internet Service Provider (ISP), are stored to track any misuse of your email address at a later time. The data collected during your subscription to the newsletter will only be used for the purpose of promotional communication through the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by sending an appropriate message to the data controller mentioned above. After unsubscribing, your email address will be immediately deleted from our newsletter distribution list, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we have reserved the right to use your data further, which is legally permitted, and which we inform you about in this declaration.

6.2 Sending the E-mail Newsletter to Existing Customers

If you have provided us with your e-mail address when purchasing goods or services, we reserve the right to send you regular offers for similar goods or services from our range by e-mail. If you initially objected to the use of your e-mail address for this advertising purpose, we will not send you such e-mails. You have the right to object to the use of your e-mail address for this advertising purpose at any time, with effect for the future, by notifying the responsible party mentioned at the beginning. PayPal reserves the right to conduct a credit check for the payment methods "credit card via PayPal", "direct debit via PayPal" or – if offered – "purchase on account" or "installment payment" via PayPal. For this purpose, your payment data may be forwarded to credit agencies according to Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO based on PayPal's legitimate interest in determining your payment ability. The result of the credit check, regarding the statistical likelihood of a payment default, is used by PayPal to decide whether to offer the respective payment method. The credit report may contain probability values (so-called score values). If score values are included in the credit check result, they are based on a scientifically recognized mathematical-statistical procedure. Among other things, address data is included in the calculation of score values. Further data protection information, including the credit agencies used, can be found in PayPal’s privacy policy: https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full. 10) Online Marketing

10.1 DoubleClick by Google This website uses the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google, operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("DoubleClick").

DoubleClick uses cookies to serve relevant ads to users, improve campaign performance reports, or prevent a user from seeing the same ad multiple times. Through a cookie ID, Google records which ads are displayed in which browser and can thus prevent them from being shown multiple times. Data processing is based on our legitimate interest in optimizing the marketing of our website according to Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO.

Furthermore, DoubleClick can capture "conversions" related to ad requests, such as when a user views a DoubleClick ad and later visits the advertiser's website with the same browser and makes a purchase. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain personal information.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to Google's server. We have no influence over the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through this tool and therefore inform you accordingly, to the best of our knowledge: By integrating DoubleClick, Google receives the information that you have visited the relevant part of our website or clicked on one of our ads. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can associate the visit with your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or logged in, there is a possibility that the provider will learn and store your IP address.

If you wish to object to participating in this tracking process, you can deactivate conversion tracking cookies by adjusting your browser settings to block cookies from the domain www.googleadservices.com: https://www.google.de/settings/ads, but this setting will be deleted when you clear your cookies. Alternatively, you can inform yourself about cookie settings and make adjustments via the Digital Advertising Alliance at www.aboutads.info. Finally, you can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and decide on an individual basis whether to accept them or exclude them for certain cases or generally. If you do not accept cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified under the US-EU Privacy Shield agreement, which ensures compliance with the data protection level applicable in the EU.

Further information regarding the privacy policy of DoubleClick by Google can be found at: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/

10.2 Use of Google AdWords Conversion Tracking

This website uses the online advertising program "Google AdWords" and within Google AdWords, the conversion tracking provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). We use the Google AdWords service to draw attention to our attractive offers on external websites using advertisements (so-called Google AdWords). We can determine how successful each advertising campaign is based on the data from the campaigns. This is done to display ads that are of interest to you, make our website more appealing to you, and achieve a fair calculation of advertising costs.

The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an AdWords ad placed by Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and enable analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including the truncated IP address) is usually transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. This website uses Google Analytics exclusively with the extension "_anonymizeIp()", which ensures anonymization of the IP address by truncation and excludes direct personal identification. The extension ensures that your IP address is shortened by Google within EU member states or in other contracting states of the European Economic Area before it is transmitted in full to a Google server in the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. In these exceptional cases, this processing is done in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR based on our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization and marketing purposes.

On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide us with further services related to website usage and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by making the appropriate setting in your browser software. However, we would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to fully use all the features of this website. You can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Alternatively, instead of the browser plugin or within browsers on mobile devices, please click the following link to set an opt-out cookie that prevents future collection by Google Analytics on this website (this opt-out cookie works only in this browser and for this domain, if you delete your cookies in this browser, you need to click this link again)

11. WEB ANALYSIS SERVICES
Google (Universal) Analytics

  • Google Universal Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", which are text files stored on your computer, enabling an analysis of your usage of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including the shortened IP address) is typically transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
This website uses Google Analytics exclusively with the "_anonymizeIp()" extension, which ensures the anonymization of the IP address by shortening it, thus excluding any direct personal identification. The extension shortens your IP address within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. In these exceptional cases, the processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization and marketing purposes.
On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website usage and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly. However, we would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to fully use all functions of this website. Additionally, you can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link:
https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
Alternatively, instead of the browser plugin or on mobile devices, please click on the following link to set an opt-out cookie that will prevent future collection by Google Analytics on this website (this opt-out cookie only works in this browser and for this domain; if you delete your cookies in this browser, you will need to click this link again): Disable Google Analytics
Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified under the US-EU Privacy Shield framework, which ensures compliance with the data protection standards applicable in the EU.
This website also uses Google Analytics for cross-device analysis of visitor flows, which is conducted through a User-ID. When a page is accessed for the first time, a unique, permanent, and anonymized ID is assigned to the user, which is set cross-device. This allows interaction data from different devices and sessions to be attributed to a single user. The User-ID does not contain any personal data and does not transmit such data to Google.
The data collection and storage using the User-ID can be objected to at any time with effect for the future. For this, you must deactivate Google Analytics on all systems you use, for example, in another browser or on your mobile device.
You can deactivate it using a browser plugin from Google https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. Alternatively, instead of the browser plugin or on mobile devices, please click on the following link to set an opt-out cookie, which will prevent the collection by Google Analytics on this website in the future (this opt-out cookie only works in this browser and for this domain; if you delete your cookies in this browser, you will need to click this link again): Disable Google Analytics

  1. RETARGETING / REMARKETING / RECOMMENDATION ADVERTISING

Facebook Custom Audience via Pixel Method This website uses the "Facebook Pixel" from Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA ("Facebook"). If explicit consent is given, user behavior can be tracked after they have viewed or clicked on a Facebook ad. This method is used to evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes and can help optimize future advertising campaigns.

The collected data is anonymous to us, so we cannot draw conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so it is possible to connect the data to the respective user profile, and Facebook may use the data for its own advertising purposes, according to Facebook's data usage policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/).

You can allow Facebook and its partners to display ads on and off Facebook. Additionally, a cookie may be stored on your computer for these purposes. These processing operations only occur if explicit consent is given in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

Consent for using the Facebook Pixel may only be given by users who are older than 13 years. If you are younger, please ask your parents for permission.

Facebook Inc., based in the USA, is certified under the US-EU Privacy Shield agreement, ensuring compliance with the data protection level applicable in the EU.

    Rights of the Data Subject (Access and Intervention Rights)

    The applicable data protection law grants you extensive rights regarding the processing of your personal data, which we inform you of below:

    • Right of Access according to Art. 15 GDPR: You have the right to obtain information about your personal data processed by us, including the processing purposes, the categories of processed personal data, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom your data has been disclosed or will be disclosed, the planned storage duration or criteria for determining the storage duration, the existence of the right to rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing, lodging a complaint with a supervisory authority, the source of your data if it was not collected by us from you, the existence of automated decision-making including profiling, and if applicable, meaningful information about the logic involved and the significance and the intended consequences of such processing, as well as your right to be informed of any guarantees under Art. 46 GDPR in case of data transfers to third countries;

    • Right to Rectification according to Art. 16 GDPR: You have the right to request the immediate correction of inaccurate data and/or the completion of incomplete data that we have stored about you;

    • Right to Deletion according to Art. 17 GDPR: You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data if the conditions under Art. 17 Para. 1 GDPR are met. However, this right does not exist, especially when the processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims;

    • Right to Restriction of Processing according to Art. 18 GDPR: You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data as long as the accuracy of the data you dispute is being verified, if you refuse the deletion of your data due to unlawful processing and instead request the restriction of the processing of your data, if you need your data for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, after we no longer need the data for its original purpose, or if you have lodged an objection due to your particular situation, as long as it has not yet been determined whether our legitimate reasons override yours;

    • Right to Notification according to Art. 19 GDPR: If you have exercised your right to rectification, deletion, or restriction of processing against the data controller, the controller is obligated to inform all recipients to whom your personal data has been disclosed about the rectification, deletion, or restriction of processing, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort. • Right to Lodge a Complaint according to Art. 77 GDPR: If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement, without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

    13.2 Right to Object

    If we process your personal data based on our legitimate interests, you have the right to object to such processing at any time, for reasons arising from your particular situation, with effect for the future.

    If your personal data is being processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for such marketing purposes. You can exercise the objection as described above.

    If you exercise your right to object, we will cease processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes.

After the retention period expires, the corresponding data will routinely be deleted, unless it is no longer required for the performance or initiation of a contract and/or we have no legitimate interest in further storage.
